Indication:

Respiratory Tract Infections, Bacterial Septicemia, Skin & Soft Tissue Infections, Urinary Tract Infections, Meningitis, Pelvic Inflammatory Diseases.

Description:

CeftriSul-375 is a combination antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of infections.

  • Ceftriaxone, a third-generation cephalosporin, inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.

  • Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the efficacy of Ceftriaxone by inhibiting resistant enzymes produced by bacteria.

Usage Information

Dosage

Route: IV or IM injection Adults: As per physician’s advice; typical dose 375 mg once or twice daily Children: Dose adjusted by body weight Reconstitute with provided sterile water before use Administer under medical supervision only.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or penicillins Neonates with jaundice or on calcium IV therapy Severe renal or hepatic impairment (use with caution)
