Description:
Merocure 500 (Meropenem Injection IP 500 mg) is a broad-spectrum carbapenem antibiotic used to treat a wide range of severe bacterial infections, including infections of the lungs, urinary tract, abdomen, skin, and brain (meningitis). It is particularly effective against multi-drug-resistant Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including anaerobes.
It is administered by intravenous injection or infusion and is reserved for serious or hospital-acquired infections under medical supervision.
