Indication:

Dysmenorrhoea Menorrhagia Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding IUCD associated Bleeding Dilation and Curettage (D&C).

Description:

Tranexamic Acid 500mg is an antifibrinolytic medication used to treat or prevent excessive bleeding caused by conditions such as heavy menstrual bleeding, surgery, trauma, or clotting disorders. It works by preventing the breakdown of fibrin, a protein essential for blood clot formation, thereby stabilizing blood clots and reducing bleeding episodes.

Usage Information

Dosage

General Dose: 500mg 2–3 times daily as prescribed For Menorrhagia: 500mg thrice daily during menstruation for up to 5 days Post-Operative Use: As directed by the physician Always take with a full glass of water Do not exceed prescribed duration or dosage
