Description:

Rabeprazole 20 mg + Levosulpiride 75 mg (SR) is a powerful combination used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), functional dyspepsia, acid reflux, and upper GI motility disorders.

  • Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), effectively suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining. It helps relieve symptoms like heartburn, acidity, and acid reflux.

  • Levosulpiride, a selective dopamine D2 antagonist with prokinetic and antipsychotic effects, enhances gastric motility and reduces nausea, bloating, and delayed gastric emptying. The sustained-release (SR) formulation ensures prolonged action throughout the day.

This combination offers dual benefits—acid control and motility enhancement, making it ideal for patients with GERD associated with functional dyspepsia or delayed gastric emptying.
