Description:
Pantoprazole 40 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that effectively reduces gastric acid secretion by blocking the proton pumps in the stomach lining. It is widely used to treat acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and gastric ulcers. Pantoprazole helps heal and prevent damage to the esophagus and stomach lining by suppressing excess acid, providing rapid and sustained relief from symptoms like heartburn, acid regurgitation, and stomach discomfort.
