Description:

Omeprazole 20mg + Domperidone 30mg (SR) is a powerful combination used to manage acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastritis, and nausea or vomiting associated with gastrointestinal disorders. It combines a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) and a prokinetic agent in a sustained-release formulation for extended symptom control.

  • Omeprazole is a PPI that suppresses gastric acid secretion by blocking the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase pump in the stomach lining.

  • Domperidone (30mg SR) enhances gastric motility, relieves nausea, and prevents gastric stasis by blocking dopamine receptors in the GI tract.

This formulation offers dual benefits: acid suppression and improved gastric emptying, making it ideal for acid-peptic disorders with motility dysfunction.
