Description:
Levosulpiride 25 mg is an atypical antipsychotic and prokinetic agent used primarily for the treatment of functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and somatic symptom disorders. It acts as a selective dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, which enhances gastrointestinal motility and regulates mood disorders by increasing acetylcholine levels and improving central neurotransmission. It is often used to manage both gastrointestinal and psychosomatic symptoms.
