Indication:
Treatment of post-operative nausea and vomiting in adults. Nausea and vomiting associated with initial and repeat courses of emetogenic cancer therapy, including high-dose cisplatin. Nausea and vomiting associated with radiation.
Description:
Granisetron 1 mg (M.D.) is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and surgery. By blocking serotonin receptors in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract, Granisetron effectively controls acute and delayed emesis, improving patient comfort during cancer treatment or post-operative recovery.
