GastroShield-D combines a powerful proton pump inhibitor with a gastrointestinal motility agent in an innovative dual-layer tablet. This unique formulation addresses both acid production and digestive motility issues simultaneously.
The inner core contains enteric-coated Rabeprazole that bypasses stomach acid degradation to release in the small intestine, while the outer layer provides sustained-release Domperidone for extended relief from motility-related symptoms like bloating and nausea.
Mechanism of Action

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults and adolescents over 16 years: One tablet daily 30 minutes before breakfast for 4-8 weeks. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or split. Elderly patients and those with severe hepatic impairment may require dose adjustment.
Side Effects
Common side effects include headache, diarrhea, constipation, and dizziness. Less common side effects include insomnia, rash, and muscle pain. Rare but serious side effects include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and abnormal heart rhythm.
Contraindications
Not suitable for individuals with hypersensitivity to components, severe liver impairment, conditions where gastrointestinal motility is contraindicated, or patients taking certain medications including ketoconazole, itraconazole, or pimozide.
