Description:

This combination of Rabeprazole Sodium 40 mg (Enteric-Coated) and Levosulpiride 75 mg (Sustained Release) is formulated for the management of GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), functional dyspepsia, bloating, and chronic gastritis.

  • Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in parietal cells, thus promoting ulcer healing and reducing heartburn.

  • Levosulpiride is a substituted benzamide derivative with prokinetic and antipsychotic properties, which enhances gastrointestinal motility and provides symptomatic relief from bloating, nausea, and delayed gastric emptying. It acts as a selective dopamine D2 antagonist, promoting gastric emptying and reducing visceral sensitivity.

This synergistic combination offers both acid suppression and prokinetic action, making it highly effective in treating acid-related disorders with motility dysfunction.
