Description:
Dexlansoprazole 60 mg is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, and conditions involving excess stomach acid. It works by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the gastric parietal cells, effectively reducing acid secretion.
Dexlansoprazole is unique due to its dual delayed-release technology, allowing extended control of gastric acid levels with once-daily dosing.
