Description:
Rifaximin BP 200 mg + Metronidazole 400 mg is a potent combination antibiotic therapy used to treat a broad range of gastrointestinal infections. Rifaximin, a non-absorbable rifamycin derivative, acts locally in the intestines by inhibiting bacterial RNA synthesis. Metronidazole is a nitroimidazole antibiotic effective against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa.
