Description:
Lansoprazole 15 mg Orally Disintegrating Tablet (ODT) is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) designed for quick and convenient relief from acid-related gastrointestinal conditions. This fast-dissolving tablet formulation disintegrates in the mouth without water, making it especially useful for patients with swallowing difficulties.
It reduces stomach acid by irreversibly inhibiting H+/K+ ATPase enzyme activity in gastric parietal cells. Lansoprazole ODT is commonly used for the treatment of GERD, erosive esophagitis, gastric ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
