Indication:
for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, and gastric motility disorders. It provides acid suppression and prokinetic action for effective relief from upper gastrointestinal symptoms.
Description:
Esomeprazole Magnesium 40mg + Domperidone 30mg (SR) is a combination formulation used for the management of acid-related gastrointestinal disorders.
Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid secretion, helping in the treatment of GERD, peptic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
Domperidone (SR) is a prokinetic agent that enhances gastrointestinal motility, relieves nausea, vomiting, and bloating, and prevents reflux by increasing lower esophageal sphincter tone.
This combination provides dual action – reducing excess gastric acid and improving gastric emptying, giving better symptomatic relief in patients with acid reflux, indigestion, and associated nausea/vomiting.

Usage Information
Dosage
Typically one tablet daily before meals, or as prescribed. Dose duration depends on severity of condition and physician’s advice. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, dry mouth. Abdominal pain, constipation, or diarrhea. Rare: QT prolongation (Domperidone), hypomagnesemia (Esomeprazole).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to PPIs or Domperidone. Patients with prolonged QT interval, severe cardiac disorders, or electrolyte imbalance. Severe liver impairment. Use in children is not recommended unless prescribed.
