Description:
Esomeprazole IP 40 mg Gastro-Resistant Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used for the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions, including GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), peptic ulcers, erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
The gastro-resistant formulation ensures that the active ingredient is protected from stomach acid, allowing it to be released in the intestine, where it is absorbed effectively for long-lasting acid suppression. It works by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme in the gastric parietal cells, thus reducing gastric acid secretion.

Usage Information
Dosage
