Description:
Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/w is a potent broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic formulated for topical or ophthalmic application. It works by inhibiting bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential for bacterial DNA replication and repair, effectively eliminating bacterial infections.
This antibiotic is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including skin infections (for topical forms) and ocular infections like bacterial conjunctivitis or keratitis (for ophthalmic forms). Moxifloxacin ensures rapid infection control, reduces inflammation, and prevents complications from untreated infections.

Usage Information
Dosage
Topical: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2–3 times daily or as prescribed. Ophthalmic: Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2–4 hours initially, then reduce as advised. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions for duration and frequency.
