Description:

Moxifloxacin 0.5% + Prednisolone 1% Ophthalmic Solution is a combination medication that combines the potent antibacterial action of Moxifloxacin with the powerful anti-inflammatory effects of Prednisolone. Moxifloxacin is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial eye infections. Prednisolone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling in ocular tissues.

This ophthalmic solution is indicated for treating bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and post-surgical inflammation where bacterial infection risk is present. The combination helps eliminate infection while soothing inflammation, promoting quicker healing and relief.

Usage Information

Dosage

Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration. Wash hands before application and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye. Avoid contact lens use during treatment unless advised otherwise.
