Eye inflammation caused by surgery, injury, or other conditions
Description:
Fluorometholone 0.1% w/v Ophthalmic Solution is a corticosteroid eye drop formulated to reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms associated with various ocular inflammatory conditions. Fluorometholone is a synthetic corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory properties that help alleviate redness, swelling, itching, and irritation caused by allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, uveitis, and other inflammatory eye disorders.
This ophthalmic solution works by suppressing the immune response and inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators on the ocular surface. It is commonly prescribed post-surgery or after eye injuries to control inflammation and promote healing while minimizing steroid-related side effects compared to stronger corticosteroids.
