Description:
Carboxymethyl Cellulose Sodium (CMC) 0.5% w/v Ophthalmic Solution is a sterile, preservative-free or preservative-containing eye lubricant designed to relieve dryness, irritation, and discomfort in the eyes. CMC is a cellulose derivative with high viscosity and excellent mucoadhesive properties, allowing it to bind to the ocular surface and provide long-lasting moisture.
It mimics natural tears and forms a protective, hydrating film on the cornea, making it effective in treating symptoms of dry eye syndrome caused by prolonged screen use, environmental factors (dust, wind), contact lens wear, or post-surgical recovery. The 0.5% concentration is ideal for frequent daily use and offers extended relief without significant blurring.

Usage Information
Dosage
Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) 3 to 6 times daily or as directed. Wash hands before application. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. If using with other eye medications, space applications by 5–10 minutes. Use consistently for best results.
