Description:
Olopatadine Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v is a sterile ophthalmic solution formulated for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. Olopatadine is a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist and mast cell stabilizer. It works by inhibiting the release of histamine and other inflammatory mediators responsible for allergy symptoms. The 0.1% w/v concentration is commonly used for twice-daily administration and offers effective relief from itching, redness, tearing, and irritation associated with seasonal or perennial allergic conjunctivitis. The solution is isotonic, pH-balanced, and suitable for long-term use under medical supervision.

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults and Children (≥3 years): Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily (every 8 hours). Wash hands before application. Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface. Use consistently for best results. Follow physician’s instructions for extended use.
