Description:
Thyroxine Sodium I.P 25 mcg is a low-dose synthetic form of the thyroid hormone levothyroxine (T4), primarily used to treat mild hypothyroidism, early-stage thyroid hormone deficiency, or as a starting dose for new patients. It may also be prescribed for elderly individuals or those with heart conditions where gradual dose titration is necessary.
The medication helps supplement deficient levels of thyroid hormone in the body, regulating metabolism, energy, body temperature, and cognitive functions. Each tablet contains 25 micrograms of Thyroxine Sodium, standardized as per Indian Pharmacopoeia (I.P.) guidelines.

Dosage
