Description:
Thyroxine Sodium I.P 125 mcg is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone thyroxine (T4), used primarily for the treatment of hypothyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone. It restores the normal levels of T4, thereby regulating metabolism, energy generation, and growth. It is also prescribed for the management of goiter and thyroid cancer in certain cases.
Each tablet contains 125 micrograms of Thyroxine Sodium, equivalent to the natural thyroid hormone produced in the body.
