Description:
Xylometazoline Hydrochloride I.P. 0.1% w/v is a potent topical nasal decongestant designed to provide fast and long-lasting relief from nasal congestion caused by the common cold, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, and other upper respiratory tract conditions. It is a sympathomimetic agent that works by constricting blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, thereby reducing swelling and opening the nasal passages for easier breathing.
This formulation is intended for adults and children over 12 years of age and provides relief within minutes, with effects lasting up to 10–12 hours. It is not recommended for prolonged use beyond 5–7 consecutive days.

Usage Information
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and older: Instill 2–3 drops or 1 spray in each nostril 2–3 times daily. Do not exceed 3 applications in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days.
Side Effects
Blow nose gently before use. Tilt head slightly forward while applying. Clean nozzle after each use.
