Description:
Teneligliptin 20mg + Pioglitazone 15mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (ER) is a triple combination oral anti-diabetic medication used for the effective management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This formulation offers a synergistic approach by combining three different mechanisms of action to optimize glycemic control:
Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, enhances insulin secretion and reduces glucagon release.
Pioglitazone, a thiazolidinedione, improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues and reduces hepatic glucose output.
Metformin (ER), a biguanide, decreases hepatic glucose production and improves insulin action, with extended-release benefits to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
This combination is ideal for patients who are inadequately controlled on dual therapy or single agents and provides comprehensive control of both fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels.
