Teneligliptin 20mg + Pioglitazone 15mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg (ER) is a triple combination oral anti-diabetic medication used for the effective management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This formulation offers a synergistic approach by combining three different mechanisms of action to optimize glycemic control:
Teneligliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor, enhances insulin secretion and reduces glucagon release.
Pioglitazone, a thiazolidinedione, improves insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues and reduces hepatic glucose output.
Metformin (ER), a biguanide, decreases hepatic glucose production and improves insulin action, with extended-release benefits to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
