Description:
This film-coated tablet combines Vildagliptin 50 mg, a DPP-4 inhibitor, with Metformin Hydrochloride 850 mg, a biguanide, to effectively manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. Vildagliptin improves glycemic control by increasing incretin hormones that stimulate insulin secretion and suppress glucagon release. Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production and enhances insulin sensitivity in peripheral tissues.
