Composition:

Indication:
Used for the treatment of fungal infections like vaginal candidiasis, ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, and skin candidiasis.
Description:
Clotrimazole IP 1% w/v is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, and candidiasis. Formulated in a base of glycerin IP and propylene glycol IP, it ensures smooth application, enhanced skin penetration, and hydration of the affected area.
Clotrimazole acts by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell death. It is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, and moulds.

Usage Information
Dosage
Clean and dry the affected area before application Apply a thin layer 2–3 times daily or as prescribed Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after symptoms disappear to prevent recurrence For external use only Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and broken skin

Mild burning, stinging, or itching at application site Redness or irritation (temporary) Rare: Allergic rash or swelling (discontinue if this occurs)
Contraindications
