Description:
Nicorandil 10 mg is a vasodilatory anti-anginal medication used primarily to treat and prevent chronic stable angina pectoris (chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). It acts as a potassium channel opener and nitrate-like agent, helping to relax and widen the blood vessels, thereby reducing the workload on the heart and improving oxygen delivery.
Nicorandil is especially useful in patients who are intolerant or non-responsive to conventional anti-anginal therapy such as beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers.

Usage Information
Dosage
Usual adult dose: 10 mg twice daily, typically in the morning and evening. In some cases, therapy may begin at 5 mg twice daily, especially in elderly or hypotensive patients. Always take as prescribed by your physician. Swallow whole with water, with or without food.

Contraindications
