Description:
Isoxsuprine 40mg SR is a sustained-release vasodilator medication used to improve peripheral blood circulation and manage obstetric conditions. It works by relaxing smooth muscles in blood vessels, particularly in the limbs and uterus, thereby enhancing blood flow and reducing vascular resistance. The sustained-release formulation ensures a gradual and prolonged therapeutic effect, making it suitable for chronic vascular conditions such as arteriosclerosis, Buerger's disease, and Raynaud's phenomenon. It is also used in gynecology to manage uterine hypertonicity or prevent premature labor by relaxing uterine muscles.
