Description:
Cilnidipine 5mg is a dual L-type and N-type calcium channel blocker used primarily for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure). Cilnidipine offers an advanced antihypertensive profile by not only relaxing the blood vessels but also inhibiting sympathetic nerve activity, which helps in controlling both blood pressure and heart rate variability.
Unlike older calcium channel blockers, Cilnidipine has a lower incidence of pedal edema and provides smooth 24-hour blood pressure control. It is well tolerated and is often used as a first-line therapy or in combination with other antihypertensives.

Usage Information
Dosage
Take one tablet (5mg) once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Take at the same time each day. Do not skip or double the dose. Follow your doctor's instructions for any dose adjustments.
