Description:
Carvedilol 3.125mg is a non-selective beta-blocker with alpha-1 blocking properties used to manage high blood pressure, heart failure, and to improve survival after a heart attack. By relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate, Carvedilol helps the heart pump more efficiently and reduces strain on the cardiovascular system.
This low dose (3.125mg) is commonly used as a starting dose in heart failure therapy, allowing for gradual titration to minimize risk of side effects such as hypotension or dizziness.
