Description:
This fixed-dose combination of Aspirin 75mg, Atorvastatin 20mg, and Clopidogrel 75mg is used primarily for the prevention of cardiovascular events such as heart attack, stroke, and complications in patients with established coronary artery disease (CAD), diabetes, or other risk factors.
Aspirin 75mg: An antiplatelet agent that prevents blood clots by inhibiting platelet aggregation.
Clopidogrel 75mg: Another antiplatelet that blocks the P2Y12 component of ADP receptors, reducing clot formation more effectively when combined with aspirin.
Atorvastatin 20mg: A statin that lowers LDL (“bad”) cholesterol and triglycerides while improving HDL (“good”) cholesterol, helping to slow plaque buildup in arteries.
This triple therapy is especially effective in secondary prevention and post-cardiac event management, helping reduce the recurrence of clot-related complications.
