Description:

Artemether 80mg + Lumefantrine 480mg Tablets**

This fixed-dose combination of Artemether (80mg) and Lumefantrine (480mg) is a potent antimalarial medication used in the treatment of acute uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria, including infections resistant to other antimalarials. Artemether, a fast-acting artemisinin derivative, rapidly kills malaria parasites in the blood, while Lumefantrine, a longer-acting agent, eliminates residual parasites and helps prevent recurrence.

This combination is a WHO-recommended artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) for malaria, ensuring high efficacy and reduced resistance development.
