Description:
Cefpodoxime 50mg + Clavulanic Acid 31.125mg DT is a pediatric antibiotic formulation that combines a third-generation cephalosporin (Cefpodoxime) with a beta-lactamase inhibitor (Clavulanic Acid) to provide broad-spectrum protection against bacterial infections. This combination enhances the antibacterial activity by preventing resistance caused by beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
It is especially useful in treating respiratory tract infections, ENT infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and soft tissue infections in children. The dispersible tablet format ensures ease of administration for pediatric patients who struggle with swallowing tablets.
