Description:
Cephalexin 125 mg DT is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, available in a dispersible tablet form for pediatric and geriatric use. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, making it effective against a wide range of Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative organisms.
Cephalexin is indicated for the treatment of respiratory tract infections, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). The dispersible form allows easy administration in children and those who have difficulty swallowing.

Dosage
Children (1-12 years): Dose based on body weight — usually 25–50 mg/kg/day in divided doses Dissolve one tablet in a teaspoon of water before administering Complete the full course even if symptoms improve Take with or without food
