Description:

Oseltamivir 75 mg is an oral antiviral medication classified as a neuraminidase inhibitor. It is used to treat and prevent influenza A and B infections. Oseltamivir works by blocking the enzyme neuraminidase, which is essential for the influenza virus to spread within the body. By inhibiting this enzyme, Oseltamivir helps reduce the severity and duration of flu symptoms and lowers the risk of complications, especially when started within 48 hours of symptom onset.

It is also used as a prophylactic treatment for individuals exposed to the virus, such as during seasonal outbreaks or flu pandemics.
