Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride I.P.equivalent. to Moxifloxacin 400 mg Cefixime (As Trihydrate) I.P.equivalent. to Anhydrous Cefixime 400 mg Excipients q.s.
Indication:
for the treatment of bacterial infections, including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections. The combination is effective against a broad range of bacteria and is used when dual therapy is needed to enhance antibacterial coverage.
Description:
This formulation combines two powerful broad-spectrum antibiotics:
Moxifloxacin Hydrochloride (equivalent to Moxifloxacin 400 mg) – a fluoroquinolone that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase, disrupting bacterial replication.
Cefixime Trihydrate (equivalent to Anhydrous Cefixime 400 mg) – a third-generation cephalosporin that interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Together, they offer potent coverage against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, making this combination effective in treating severe or resistant infections.

Dosage
Recommended Adult Dose: 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a physician Route: Oral Duration: Usually 5–10 days depending on the infection type Take with or without food, but ideally at the same time daily Complete the full course even if symptoms improve
